WANG Dong

Wang Dong is Full Professor with Tenure at School of International Studies, Peking University. He also serves as Deputy Head of the Office for Humanities and Social Sciences and Executive Director of the Institute for Global Cooperation and Understanding, both at Peking University. His articles appear in leading academic journals and media outlets such as The Journal of Conffict Resolution, Diplomatic History, The Pacific Review, Foreign Affairs and The New York Times. He is the author and/or editor of eight books such as Re-globalisation: When China Meets the World Again (Routledge, 2020). He has attended several premier international forums as a Chinese Delegate, including Summer Davos, the Munich Security Conference, and the Shangri-La Dialogue. Wang was named a "Munich Young Leader" in 2016 and was selected by the inaugural program of "Preeminent Young Scientists" of Beijing in 2018. He was named a Changjiang Young Scholar of China in 2023.
