Yuan Ming is currently the Honorary Dean of Yenching Academy of Peking University and Professor at the School of International Studies at Peking University. She was a visiting scholar at U.C.Berkeley (1983- 1985) and a Senior Associate Member at the St. Antony's College in Oxford (1989-1990). Since 1994, she was invited to do research at the Carter Center, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and the Brookings Institution in Washington D.C. She was a frequent speaker at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the Trilateral Commission, the Club of Rome, the Aspen Workshop of World Economy, etc. She published A History of International Relations (1648-1989) and is the co-editor of Sino-American Relations 1945-1955, with Harry Harding; and The Golden Age of U.S.-China-Japan Relations, with Ezra Vogel and Tanaka Akihiko. She was a member of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (1998-2012) and its Foreign Relations Committee.
