Zhu Feng is Executive Dean of School of International Studies of Nanjing University. He also serves as Executive Director of China Center of Collaborative Studies of South China Sea, a leading think tank in China which is speciffcally working on maritime security in the Western Paciffc. Zhu Feng used to be a professor and Deputy Director of Institute of International Strategic Studies of Peking University. His major research interests lie on China-US relations, East Asian regional security and maritime competition. Zhu Feng published proliffcally over these themes. His English publications include China's Ascent: Power, Security and International Politics (co-edited with Robert Ross, Cornell University Press, 2008), and America, China and the Struggle for the World Order (co-edited with G. John Ikenbery and Wang Jisi, Macmillan, 2016).
