Cui Liru serves now as Senior Adviser of China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR). Mr. Cui served as President  of CICIR from 2005 to 2013, Director General of Institute of World  Information (affiliated to the State Information Center) from 1996 to  2004, and First Secretary and Counselor at the Permanent Mission of the  PRC to the United Nations (in New York) from 1992 to 1994. Mr. Cui  graduated from Fudan University in Shanghai in 1976, and started his  academic career in CICIR in 1980. His academic and policy studies have  covered U.S. foreign policy, Sino-U.S relations, international security  issues and Chinese foreign policy.
