Dr. RONG Ying, Vice President and Senior Research Fellow at China  Institute of International Studies. He had previously served as Director for  International Strategic Studies and American Studies. He had previously  served in the China Embassy and was a visiting scholar at the Bush  School for Government and Public Service, Texas A&M University, U.S.Dr. Rong got his MA from Beijing Normal University and his PhD from  Peking University.  Dr. Rong’s main areas of research include China’s neighborhood  diplomacy and South Asia politics and security
