Professor of the School of International Studies(SIS), Peking University, and Director of the Center for International Organization Studies, Peking University. He received his Ph.D. in 1998 from SIS, Peking University.His major research areas are international environment and climate politics, China’s environmental diplomacy and international organizations. He advises on trade and environment issues to the Ministry of Commerce, China; and also a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council for Sustainability and a member of the Board of United Nations Association of China. He participated in China-U.S. 1.5 Track of Climate Expert Dialogue and China-France 1.5 Track of Climate Expert Dialogue from 2013 to2015 and the negotiations of the First and Second UN Environment Assembly from 2014 to 2016.
