On May 11, 2012, former U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary Mr. Evans Revere visited Center for International and Strategic Studies of Peking University (CISS). During his visit, Mr. Revere gave a speech on China-U.S. Relations, crisis management in Korean Peninsula and disputes in South China Sea. After the speech Mr. Revere also discussed the above issues with other participants of the event.

The event was chaired by Associate Professor Yu Tiejun, Deputy Director of CISS. Professor Wang Jisi, Director of CISS, Associate Professor Wang Dong, Wang Wen, editor from the Global Times and some graduate students of SIS participated in the event.
