On Oct. 15th, 2014, Thomas Christensen, Professor at the Department of Political Science, Princeton University, the United States, paid a visit to the Institute of International & Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU), and had a panel discussion with some senior researchers of IISS and the School of International Studies (SIS). Participants of the panel discussion included: Prof. Wang Jisi, President of IISS, Prof. Yuan Ming, Vice President of IISS, Guan Guihai, Associate Professor and Executive Vice President of IISS, Dr. Yu Tiejun, Associate Professor and Assistant President of IISS, Dr. Gui Yongtao, Associate Professor and Assistant President of IISS, Prof. Liang Yunxiang, Associate Professor Wang Dong and Dr. Wu Xiangning of SIS.

Prof. Thomas Christensen and the participants had in-depth exchanges on some hot topics, such as China-Japanese relations, China-US relations, Ukraine issues, China's diplomacy, etc.
