On December 26th, 2014, the Institute of International and Strategic Studies, Peking University (IISS, PKU) held the 2014 Plenary Meeting of Council and Seminar on the International Situation. Guan Guihai, the Executive Vice President of IISS presided over the council of plenary meeting. President Wang Jisi made a conclusion on last year's work and introduced the work plan for the coming year. Vice President Yuan Ming reviewed the first annual meeting of "North Pavilion Dialogue" of IISS. They extended sincere appreciation to the members of the council and all circles of society that provided support to the work of IISS and earnestly asked them for their consistent guidance and help.

During the Seminar of the International Situation held, experts from relevant fields respectively expressed their opinions on Sino-America relations, neighborhood situation, Sino-Japan relations, Russian issues, as well as situations in the Middle East and South Asia etc., and exchanged views with other attendees of the meeting.

Dai Bingguo, Honorary President of IISS and Former State Councilor participated in the discussion and shared his opinions on the future international order.
