On December 16, 2014, Tanaka Akihiko, President of JICA, paid a visit to the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS) together with Hirota Kouki, Director of Planning Department of JICA and other Japanese delegates. They exchanged views with Wang Jisi, President of IISS on international situation and China-Japan cultural and people-related exchanges and collaboration. Tanaka Akihiko, who used to be a professor and executive vice president of the University of Tokyo, is a renowned scholar on international politics and expert on Asia-Pacific affairs.
