Mr. Li Shaoxian is a renowned scholar on Middle East issues for more than 30 years. Mr. Li is currently President of Chinese Academy of Arab Studies, Ningxia University (CAASNU) and a former vice president of the China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR). Mr. Li is in charge of various field research works, not limited to international relations of Sino-Arab nations, cooperation in the fields of energy, economic and trade, industrial technology innovation. CAASNU research reports under his supervision have won recognition from offices and departments at both central and local levels. Mr. Li received a Second Class Order of Heroic Exemplar.
