Issue 4 of China International Strategy Review Released Online

Issue 2 of 2020 (totally 4 issues) of China International Strategy Review (CISR), an English journal of the Institute of International and Strategic Studies (IISS), Peking University (PKU), published by Springer Nature, has now been released online. This issue of CISR continues to discuss the issue of “Sino-U.S. Relations in the Era of Great Power Competition”. Experts and scholars from China, the United States and Japan are invited to thoroughly analyze the domestic political and social status of the United States, the situation of competition between China and the United States in the fields such as nuclear power, ideology and foreign development policies, and the response of Japan regarding Sino-U.S. competition as a third party. In addition to 7 thematic articles, this issue of CISR has also published four papers and four introductions to new books to discuss topics such as the policy of mainland China towards Taiwan, the role of China in the current multilateral order, Sino-Russia relations and the policy of Turkey towards Libya. The paper version of CISR will be printed and distributed later.
The English version of China International Strategy Review is initially scheduled to be released twice a year. It is positioned to publish works that discuss major international strategic issues and present important policy and academic significance. We sincerely welcome friends from the academic and policy communities who are engaged in research on issues related to China’s international strategy to submit articles which will be double blind reviewed according to standards that are common in the international academic circle. Outstanding articles will be selected and the published.
